About Emma

Emma is a shy girl on the internet who likes talking about herself in third person. She began blogging in November of 2012 on a site called Informational Forest. She quit blogging in December of 2012, but made a comeback in January of 2013 with Emma Reader's Blog. In May, she decided to start fresh with this blog, The Giant Pencil!

She blogs constantly about the books she reads when her family and friends get tired of listening. Some of the things she loves are:

1. Books (obviously)
2. Manga
3. Bacon. Lots of bacon. 
4. A really good pencil

About Reviews

All reviews on The Giant Pencil are written by Emma Reader. They are typically written:

1. Within 24 hours after finishing the book (typically directly after reading, even if its at 3am!)
2. With a lot of emotion and strong feels toward characters/plot lines/etc.
3. Without being proofread

Most are intended for personal use so Emma (with her terrible memory) can remember whether she liked a book or not and why. But if they're being written, it might as well be in public in case it can help anyone else!
